My experience with Sweet Paws was very good. I appreciate the fact that our home and yard situation were checked out and that we were thoroughly interviewed. Our vet and references were called which showed me that Sweet Paws was going to be very careful about where and with whom they would place a dog. Our adoption coordinator Susan understood that we were hoping for a friendly, sturdy dog who would spend time in the woods with us and be our companion. At first I didn't understand how many approved adopters there were but once I got that, I understood the system better.  We ended up with a lovely wee terrier type who is very at home here. Our adoption coordinator was readily available for any follow up questions. We are so grateful.
