Nala and Loki

Just over three years ago we chose Nala (formerly Dagny) off a transport. We were hoping to find the perfect fit for our family to fill the void from recently losing our bestest boy. Nala was a nervous nelly when she first came home so we weren't sure if maybe we had made a mistake, but her confidence quickly grew, as did our love for her! She did not turn into the "large breed" dog we had anticipated, but this petite little girl soon became best buds with both of her human little girl companions.

Fast forward almost three years as we welcomed our first foster fail (we had quite a few successful ones, we swear!) big boy Loki (formerly Oliver). Have you ever read or seen A Dog's Journey? Well, we believe Loki is absolutely our bestest boy back to be with us again. He completed our family in ways we never knew we were missing.
