Luna

When we decided to rescue another dog I really didn’t expect it to be much different from my first rescue: go to the shelter and find the dog that is best for you and your family.   Never in a million years did I expect to forge the amazing connections and friendships with so many of the Sweet Paws volunteers!  I could not believe when they connected me with the first person who gave Luna hope and the first person who had hope in Luna, Southern rescuer Jeanette. Foster mom Monica welcomed us to her home to meet Luna and make sure the fit was right for our family.  But most of all I am forever grateful to adoption coordinator Brittany who coordinated ALL of this. Brittany took the time to listen to what we were looking for and made it happen!  Not only did Brittany make sure Luna was the right fit for us, Brittany made sure WE were right for Luna, checking references and meeting each of our family members.  

This adoption has been the best adoption experience and I highly recommend Sweet Paws!
