Freddie

My husband and I were recommended to Sweet Paws Rescue by a family who had previously adopted a dog and had a great experience. Both of us come from families of dog lovers and we were excited to finally get a pup of our own. We loved our experience with Sweet Paws. From the very beginning it was clear how much the team cared about their work. 

We adopted a Mississippi Mutt named Freddie who is now just over two years old. He is the sweetest dog and has earned himself the nickname Friendly Fred with the rest of our family. Freddie loves dogs, people and snacks - I sometimes joke he has more friends than I do.

What we will never forget about SPR is that we were returning from vacation the day we finally picked up our pup (a few delays in the process made it hard to coordinate) and our adoption coordinator was nice enough to take our Freddie home with her for the afternoon so we could pick him up later in the day. It’s the little things but it meant a whole lot to us!

We are so pleased with our choice to use SPR and highly recommend using them if you are looking to adopt!
