When we were lucky enough to rescue Cocoa (formerly Lava) she was the most timid dog we had ever met. She was not very fond of other dogs or other people. With some love and belly rubs...well you can see for yourself. She has changed our lives. We now know more patience and understanding when thinking about what someone or something has lived through.
